This is an overview of the Canvas Party and what is included. In order to book a party, please EMAIL US at info@peapoddery.com! Please let us know the date and time you'd like to have the party (and possibly a backup date). We just need to confirm that our instructor is available!
· $30 per child, minimum of 8 kids
· Select one of the 11 images to paint. A dedicated instructor will be provided to walk the kids through the entire process. A 12" x 16" canvas will be used.
Should you desire a personalized image, we can create a special design for you (depending on the image) for an additional $50. Please allow us up to two weeks to create your personalized painting sample. This must be paid prior to the sample being created and cannot be refunded. Please call the studio before booking if you need a custom painting created.
· Use of separate Party Room for 1.5 hours
· Hand print memory keepsake plate for the birthday girl/boy (dinner-sized plate which captures their hand print, date, names of the attendees, and some special interests)
• Kids will be using acrylic paint, which is harder to wash out of clothing. Although we will provide smocks, we recommend them wearing clothing that you won't mind paint getting on.
• To ensure we secure an instructor in time, parties must be booked no sooner than 3 weeks in advance. If you'd like to book sooner, you must call the studio to see if we can accommodate (we will try our best!).
Our packages have all the fun! Each child will paint their own canvas that can be taken home that day. We supply the brushes and paint (of course :), and you supply the happy guests!
The party will start with the children painting! This process takes around 45 minutes, after which you can have food, cake, open gifts as you wish for the remaining 45 minutes. Feel free to bring in your own food and beverages for your party! Please note that since this is instructor led, we recommended this for older children.
Again, you MUST CALL THE STUDIO BEFORE BOOKING A CANVAS PARTY!
We recommend children be dropped-off (if the parent is comfortable), to save space within the studio and also for conservation of parking.
There is a minimum of 8 painters needed to use the private party room. If you have less than 8, you will still be charged for 8 painters. If you have more than 12 painters, please let us know as we will need to put you into a larger room. If you need to cancel, there is no charge to reschedule, and your deposit will be transferred to the new date. Please give us as much notice as possible. Deposits are non-refundable.
Please understand that our pottery paints are very water-washable, but we do not guarantee that there will never be any staining. Keep this in mind when selecting clothing.
